The Southern Educational Robotics Conference (SERC) is a professional learning event hosted by the Southeastern Center of Robotics Education (S.C.O.R.E.) at Auburn University. About the Conference
The Southern Educational Robotics Conference was created to support educators as they integrate robotics, coding and hands-on STEM experiences into their classrooms. Hosted by S.C.O.R.E., an outreach center in Auburn University’s College of Sciences and Mathematics, SERC reflects Auburn’s land-grant mission to serve educators and students through high-quality outreach and professional development.
The conference provides participants with opportunities to learn from experienced educators, explore robotics platforms commonly used in classrooms and competitions and engage in discussions about best practices for teaching STEM concepts through robotics.
